Clausebook implements industry best practices to secure your data and ensure privacy. Here is a summary of our privacy and security protocols.

Compliance

Clausebook has implemented practices following the criteria required to maintain robust information security, as set out by the American institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) in the SOC 2 standards.

Data Backups

To protect against data loss and prepare for quick recovery in the unlikely event of a disaster, Clausebook has implemented an automated backup system. Data is backed up daily and retained for at least 2 weeks.

Authentication

EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD

Users can authenticate with their chosen email and password. These credentials are managed by Auth0.

SINGLE SIGN-ON

Users can authenticate with their chosen social identity provider (i.e. Google) instead of maintaining passwords with Clausebook.

Data Encryption

We encrypt data at rest with 256 bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256). While data is in transit, Clausebook uses HTTPS/TLS 1.3.
